Uh...FICTIONAL internet character at one internet site, with no meaning outside of that site. "Jeff K. is known for his horrible spelling, joining words to create insults such as "clownboat" and "asshat," See ya! Terrapin 21:19, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)
Keep-ity keepkeepkeep. An article about Jeff K. is useful for explaining to folks not "in the know" how certain internet slang came to be.- Keep. If Bubb Rubb has his own page, why can't Jeff? Plenty of people recognize either individual, fictional or not. --Klo 04:52, 18 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- K A highly-notable cultural phenomenon, with PLENTY of meaning outside of SA. A B1FF for the masses, if you will. Chris 21:39, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- can you give an example of "meaning outside of SA"? Terrapin 21:59, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Two web hits and personal web page do not notable make. Delete. Terrapin 00:25, 17 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Eh? What are you talking about? Chris 01:57, 17 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Comment: If you actually fine tune the search terms used, it's actually less than 900 pages. Andylkl 12:27, 20 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Keep.-PlasmaDragon 22:06, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Delete: micromyth. There have been plenty of real people that "everybody knows" that have gone away entirely, and so shall he (one Bill Cheek was known for calling people "colon neck"). Thaes ofereode thisses swa maegh. Geogre 23:06, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Very notable internet figure. Gamaliel 00:07, 17 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- "notable" and "internet figure"... Should we add that to a category, along with Military Music and Famous people from Madagascar. Terrapin 00:47, 17 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- How about a lame sarcasm category? Gamaliel 01:40, 17 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Evidently (see "Something Awful forums" above) someone has a vendetta, so perhaps this can be classified VfD abuse. Next thing you know, we'll have Wikipedia nominated as a vanity page. And next time you try sarcasm, choose your words carefully. Military music is a well-defined term, with plenty of well-known examples. Chris 02:53, 17 Oct 2004 (UTC)

- Keep. Well known character on the internet. bbx 03:49, 17 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Significantly more notable than many articles that pass VfD muster. So much so that I'm wondering if this particular VfD is meant to be taken seriously. Saucepan 03:53, 17 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Interesting. Fishal 04:10, 17 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Keep or merge and redirect Something Awful. That site is, by the way, quite notable as well as TEH BEST. --Goblin 04:36, Oct 17, 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. I'm not much of a Something Awful fan either, but deleting notable topics is never a good idea. Factitious 06:19, Oct 17, 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Notable enough. StuartH 06:55, 17 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Ooooo, "clownboat" and "asshat." Give the clownarticle two thumbdowns and a bootass. Respectfully.--NathanHawking 08:14, 2004 Oct 17 (UTC)

- Keep. Jeff K. is pretty popular around the web, especially outside of Something Awful. I've seen people imitating him pop up everywhere. - Lifefeed 21:06, Oct 18, 2004 (UTC)

- Well the content on this page should stay in Wikipedia, but I'm gonna vote to merge it into the main Something Awful article - Jxan3000 11:06, Oct 19, 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Highly notable among a certain subculture. Andre (talk) 14:33, Oct 19, 2004 (UTC)
- Delete, or at least merge and redirect to Something Awful. He's not that notable outside the Something Awful forums. Andylkl 14:55, 19 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- There's an entry about him in the Jargon File. Does that demonstrate notability outside of Something Awful? Factitious 19:38, Oct 19, 2004 (UTC)
- No. Terrapin 20:06, 19 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Comment: Agree on Terrapin on that one. Being mentioned on a non-notable website does not make him notable at all. Andylkl 12:16, 20 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- I'm having trouble with this. Could you just confirm that I have understood correctly that you feel that the Jargon File is "a non-notable website"? Saucepan 19:43, 20 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Uh... So that's where it is, I didn't manage to find the article earlier. Technically the Jargon File isn't a website per se. Andylkl 04:13, 21 Oct 2004 (UTC)

- Delete. Not notable. Not interesting. Not important. The Internet already archives its old abandoned "humor". We don't have to. - Nunh-huh 02:44, 20 Oct 2004 (UTC)
KeepImportant part of internet culture- Keep - JeffK si teh intarweb champeen. Really, keep it, JeffK is the personification of the beginnings of Leet, and we have an article on that. If anything, JeffK spread "teh leet", and his "h4x0r" style webpage with intentionally broken links is a landmark in the history of the Interweb. --Me at work 20:59, 21 Oct 2004 (UTC)
