User:Husker007 is repeatedly removing the speedy deletion tag from his fictional page. --Chessphoon 03:42, 11 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- It is not a fictional page, I'm reworking it as we speak to make it more clear. The page is about a contemporary author's science fiction story, a story in the same vein as Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. User:Chessphoon has some personal vendetta and continually erroniously attempts to delete this page. [signature originally omitted: Husker007 03:45, 11 Sep 2004]
- First of all, please don't accuse people of having personal vendettas against you. It's bad form. Chessphoon is simply trying to ensure that all of our articles are encyclopedic. The questioning of the article's factuality should not be misconstrued as a personal attack against you. Assume good faith.
Second: this an issue to be decided one way or the other here on VfD, not by repeatedly removing tags. Edit wars are also bad form.
Finally, my opinion on the matter: none of the top Google hits [1] have anything to do with a HGTTG-esque story. Therefore, I vote to delete unless you can prove that this story is notable enough to warrant inclusion. - In what way exactly does the current article differ from patent nonsense? This is a work of original fiction, and irrespective of any literary quality is not an encyclopedia article. Delete. Average Earthman 05:29, 11 Sep 2004 (UTC)

I deleted it as patent nonsense. Jim Fleckenstein is God Emperor of the Universe? Yeah. RickK 06:07, Sep 11, 2004 (UTC)
- Delete because not notable enough yet. Should not have been a speedy, though. Articles about fiction (even if not properly labeled as such) should be dealt with here. Rossami 03:00, 12 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- There was nothing in this article which claimed it was fiction. It was written about this person as if he were a real person (including a photograph). Husker007 is a notorious troll who has been blocked for 24 hours and already has an RfC against him after one day of editing under that User ID. RickK 06:04, Sep 12, 2004 (UTC)
