Terminology
[edit]Is the term "spokestoon" really used only for pre-existing cartoon characters used in advertising? Googling for "spokestoon" shows that it's used to describe any cartoon character that represents a product. —tregoweth 18:24, Dec 25, 2004 (UTC)
Why is this written with an entirely unrealistic viewpoint?
[edit]This is written as if cartoon characters have agency. Donald Duck joined the war effort? Cartoon characters are hired? The entire article is questionable. 140.141.192.46 (talk) 04:19, 24 January 2024 (UTC)
- This article feels old. I tried to update it a bit but there are quite a few issues. Nightheight (talk) 07:22, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
