How do Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Brian Jones, or The Beatles qualify as associated acts? See Template:Infobox musical artist#associated_acts. Was Donovan in a group with any of them? Did Donovan collaborate with any of them on multiple occasions, or on an album, or tour with them as a single collaboration act playing together? Sundayclose (talk) 02:26, 28 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Donovan Philips Leitch is known simply by his first name "Donovan", what is the reason this should not be included? Plenty of famous people are known by their first names e.g Elvis, Prince, Kylie, Madonna, etc.--James Joseph P. Smith (talk) 21:51, 5 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I came here looking to find out whether the proper attribution for this individual is "Donovan Leitch" or "Donovan" - no help. I note elsewhere that internet searches for Donovan Leitch invariably refer to his son. What name is credited on the father's records as the composer? I don't have any of them. This seems to be something that could have been resolved very simply or at the very least mentioned in the article a long time ago.Ramseyman (talk) 18:47, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I removed the claim of Brian Wilson being in Rishikesh until a reliable source can be found. I followed these artists very closely during this time. While I cannot "prove" Wilson was not there, I have neither read, seen nor heard mention - print or photo - of him being there. (This includes biographies and the like.) Especially convincing, for me, is the group photo that was taken at the time and was later published in a Beatles tome. Wilson is nowhere to been seen although all the Beatles and their wives/girlfriend (Jane Asher), Mike Love, Donovan, Mia Farrow and others are pictured. I think it is prudent to remove the Wilson mention until a source can be found to confirm his inclusion in the group of folks there at the time covered.
