DOB.
[edit]I would say if someone could add the date of birth that the "stub" tag could then well be removed.

new paragraph?
[edit]This was added to the article. I removed it until we can determine if it is important and if we can find references. Kingturtle (talk) 17:37, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
- Controversy----After the 1992 National Convention at New Orleans it was discovered that Michael Skaggs, the party's first convention manager, was fired by Phillips because Skaggs did not vote for Phillips at the convention for president. Skaggs, who was also a delegate representing the District of Columbia and was at no time told his vote for president was a requirement for remaining employed, instead voted for Arizona Governor Evan Mecham and as a result of his vote was fired from his position with his position with Phillips' group, the Conservative Caucus. The only reason Phillips gave for the firing was Skaggs' vote for Mecham and no other was given. Skaggs filed a lawsuit for wrongful firing which was settled out of court for a very small amount of money. At no time has Phillips admitted wrongdoing or taken responsibility for denying Skaggs' First Amendment voting rights.
Died?
[edit]Ballot Access News is reporting that Phillips died on April 20, 2013, but I can not find any other source to corroborate this. —Sesel (talk) 23:04, 21 April 2013 (UTC)
- Ballot Access News, AFAICT, isn't a reliable source. I can't find anyone else reporting this. FWIW, the Constitution Party is silent so far. - SummerPhD (talk) 00:32, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
