I can't find consistant evidence that Crosby was the Director of Photography for "The Day the Earth Stood Still." The Internet Movie Database, which I consider to be a fdamn fine source, doesn't list him anywhere on the full credits page for the film, which is verified as complete. There really isn't much more you can add about this guy. Wasn't that remarkable, I don't think it should be labeled as a stub. I'm sorry to say it, but his life is stub-worthy. If you do a google search, all that you pick up is stuff about his son. I just stumbled upon the article and decided to give it a bit more. If anyone disagrees with the stub removal, feel free to revert.
