Death date
[edit]The beginning of the article gives his death as March 1, 2005, but the end gives it as March 11. Anyone know the actual date?
- His death was being reported on March 7, so that would suggest that arch 1st was the proper date. Dwain
Knew Father Halloran
[edit](he was my high school theology teacher and a great guy. we knew about his role in the exorcist but we knew not to ask about it. just by looking at the guy you knew not to mess with him. i had no idea of his service to the troops.) —Unsigned comment added on 15 November 2007 (UTC)
Life section correction
[edit]Fr. Walt stated time and again that he did not believe the boy was possessed, nor did he believe the boy was evil. Therefore I have corrected the sentence.75.21.110.251 (talk) 15:44, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
OK, this little tidbit appeared as if by magic in the article with NO citation or reference: "Halloran had no doubt that the boy was possessed by evil forces and shared his observations and feelings with Pastor Ingalls in taped conversations. [Italics mine]" If this is not cited properly, the whole thing is going. I have heard Walt say he "never thought this boy was possessed or evil." I'll get the citations since I am not certain how they should be listed. What citations are there for Halloran totally contradicting himself? This article makes him look like a liar and a fool if we keep the above-quoted statement there. And WHERE does Fr. Halloran say his interviews with Allen are "the best"?75.21.110.251 (talk) 19:01, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
