[edit]I moved Nakata Hidetoshi to this page Hidetoshi Nakata based upon what I read in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style for Japan-related articles, namely "In general, use the form of a person's name that is most widely known and used by English speakers." calexico 10:07, 22 Apr 2004 (UTC)
Photograph
[edit]Can't we get a better picture of Nakata instead of the tiny picture of him kicking the ball in training?—Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.198.158.222 (talk • contribs)
- Hey, if you can find a copyright-free image or get an image owner to give permission, feel free to put one up. Most photographs out there are have copyright on them, unfortunately. But I'm afraid that's the best we can do for now, and it seems, forever. Also, please sign your comments with four tildes (~). Thanks. Ytny 03:17, 4 July 2006 (UTC)

2000 & 2004 World Cups
[edit]Was he omitted from these campaigns because of injury or poor form?--Vindicta 00:57, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
- Um, there were no world cups in 2000 or 2004. Only every four years. Neier 02:24, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
Why did he retire?
[edit]The article does not mention specifically WHY he retired. Does anyone know why? It's quite strange for a football professional to retire at age 29...
Thanks!

Project Assessment
[edit]A nice treatment, though the biography section could benefit greatly from being fleshed out and transformed into fuller paragraph format. Right now it reads more like a list of bulletpoints. LordAmeth 14:26, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

Perugia Debut Match
[edit]I would like to see whether or not an individual can verify (and if so, please cite) that after moving to Perugia, Hidetoshi Nakata scored two goals for Perugia in his debut match against Juventus.
I was not in the stadium for the match that day, but I heard of this performance from word of mouth. 2601:202:100:9EC0:9EB7:C1FE:7BF6:CDF (talk) 15:14, 27 July 2024 (UTC)
