Generalized
[edit]- Section added. —Nils von Barth (nbarth) (talk) 20:10, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
This lemma is generalized by (and is used in one of the proof of)the Tiezte extension theorem.
- This has been (at some point) added to the article – thanks!

Capitalization
[edit]Should "Lemma" for this and other lemmas be capitalized or not? Not actually knowing anything about them, I am curious why they except the naming conventions (and do so explicitly).
Why was this moved from the non-capitalized versions, and why are there other lemmas in List of lemmas that are still not capitalized?

- I just moved Urysohn's lemma from Urysohn's Lemma. There was no need for capital L. Oleg Alexandrov 01:07, 21 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- For some reason, it seems that "X's theorem" and "X's lemma" are often non-capitalized in the literature. I guess it's just one of those things. Druiffic (talk) 03:04, 15 November 2008 (UTC)Druiffic
Proof rewrite
[edit]I've done a somewhat bold rewrite of the #Proof sketch section. If there's any problem with it, let me know! – viiii (talk) 04:56, 24 May 2023 (UTC)
