Definition

1.) What nations are usually taken to be a "Gulf State?" 2.) Is Iran a Gulf State? If not, what region would it be in, if any?

"Gulf states" is too generic. Unless someone knows the context, it doesn't make sense to omit the proper name. It is also confusing, I can never imagine calling Italy a "Sea State", or India an "Ocean State". Kaveh 03:56, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Arab gulf state

Forever Persian Gulf! I want to tell Arabs to contribute in international civilivisation instead of degrading other nations and their nationaity! (Ahmadreza Tavakoli Saberi)
