- Weak delete: I agree that this is not really an insanity defense article. The current contents are all but useless, as it is simply a quote from Samuel, but various real and fictional people who pretend to be insane is worth discussing, but not really under this title. Also, I'm not sure that any title can really be useful and consistent to cover Odysseus and Yossarian, both. Perhaps a bit of the article on insanity could cover feigned madness as a literary trope. - Extremely encyclopedic subject, quite distinctly from insanity defense, that must also reference the landmark Rosenhan experiment. Geogre: Insanity is the article on the legal concept: we want mental illness, which would be overloaded with a hefty new section on this subject. But "feigned madness" is a terrible title. - Might be profitably merged with factitious disorder, which seems to be the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders name for psychiatric malingering. -- Smerdis of Tlön 17:24, 19 Nov 2004 (UTC)

- delete- no rerason to keep it just because its encyclopedic, if its already coverd.
