Ann Orson/Carte Blanche. I think there is an innacuracy in that matter, isnt't there? Once is written it was a moniker used when Elton John wrote a song on his own (words as well) and once - a moniker of Elton and Bernie (writing song together, as always - what in my opinion not really makes sense). What do you think? And what about Lady/Lord Choc Ice? Regards 217.149.252.162 (talk) 13:10, 3 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It says that John came up with the moniker when he wrote a song by himself, but that it is used here to refer to both John and Taupin. BlueSwede92 (talk) 01:23, 7 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Not a spoonerism

[edit]

"The title is a spoonerism on the phrase "West of the Rockies""

Spoonerisms involve the misplacement of morphemes, not entire words. "Rest of the Wockies" would be a spoonerism of the type indicated. Harfarhs (talk) 02:54, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
