- Originally marked as Speedy Deletion by Solitude, but I get Google hits, so it's certainly a celebrity to have an article about. — Timwi 17:55, 12 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- It's a very stubby stub, but there's no reason to delete it. Actual celebrity. Billy Bragg wrote a hit song about him - David Gerard 18:12, 12 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Levi Stubbs is the lead singer of the Four Tops! Definitely keep. RickK 20:04, Jul 12, 2004 (UTC)
- Keep - substantial musical figure (coverage of soul music is poor on Wikipedia) - send to WP:Cleanup. Cutler 20:22, Jul 12, 2004 (UTC)
- Now that I'm through picking up my lower jaw from the ground, washing it off and reattaching it, may I say keep and expand. Way too important a subject. Stubbs deserves more than stubs! - Lucky 6.9 22:02, 12 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. It's sweet as a honeybee! It's the same old song! Mike H 00:36, Jul 13, 2004 (UTC)
- Keep: Good Grief, He is a major Motown figure! Ionesco 02:25, 14 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Comment: I've left a note on Solitude's user page and told him as such. He's from The Netherlands, which leads me to believe that he honestly didn't know who he was. There is an article on The Four Tops in the Swedish Wiki, though. :-/ Mike H 02:30, Jul 14, 2004 (UTC)
- Thanks for noting me Mike, I marked it as speedy deletion because, in my opinion, the first entry was not even stub quality, and as I had never heard of the guy...I was a bit hasty, let's keep it and see what we can find about him. -- Solitude 07:47, 14 Jul 2004 (UTC)
